It is the mission of the City of American Canyon to keep this Community a nice place in which to live, work and play.  This mission will be accomplished by implementing prudent and proper policies that ensure the Community will continue to be environmentally friendly and financially secure.

To ensure a self-reliant, sustainable Community, the City will offer a full array of quality public services, all provided in the most cost-effective manner possible.  To ensure a well-informed and involved citizenry, the City will make its government as open as possible and as accessible as possible.
